Ayça Taylan

After graduating from Istanbul Technical University, she pursued her architectural studies at Politecnico di Milano. During her ten-year career, she worked as a project architect and designer in various architecture offices in Italy, China, and Turkey, earning prestigious awards. Since 2015, she has been working under the umbrella of Yerce + Taylan Architecture, a partnership she co-founded, where she has contributed to and produced numerous projects featured in both national and international publications. With the ‘Masura’ project, she won the ‘Best Exhibition Space’ award at İsmob, and with the ‘Studio Loft’ project, she was the only finalist from Turkey in the WAF 2017 competition. Her installation ‘The Path’ received prestigious design awards, including the Frame Awards 2020 and the German Design Awards 2021 in the ‘Best Exhibition Space of the Year’ category.
